Project description:

Yogi & Associates is seeking a full-time remote accountant and bookkeeper based in Sri Lanka to support our Canadian accounting team.

Compensation: LKR 233,000 per month (approximately CAD $1,000; exchange-rate equivalent).

Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Toronto/Eastern Time.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain multiple client books in QuickBooks Desktop

• Process payroll and related records

• Complete bank and credit-card reconciliations

• Record income, expenses, bills, payments and journal entries

• Prepare monthly financial reports

• Communicate clearly with our Canadian team

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop

• Experience with payroll and reconciliations

• Tamil and English communication skills are required

• Reliable computer and internet connection

• Organized, accurate and able to meet deadlines

• Able to work consistent Canadian business hours
